I don't know who it is as were private, but if ya do something like that, ya BETTER know the waters! This aint no damn lake. I moved here 24 years ago and as come from Illinois (MISS BLARNYS ISLAND!) and first time dealing with tides. DAMN! I knew the tide changes daily as ya have to with the launch dock. I DID NOT realize the power of moving water! One day I was out and just floating in the bay. Very windy and ya think be blowing with it? NOPE! Looked at the shore and I WAS GOING BACKWARDS against the wind!
We see stupid people go out in rowboats tide changing trying to get to Hope. We get many feet swing spring, and one day see some idiot women rowing like crazy and getting no where but backwards. Thing is if ya look at the link, tide coming in its goes into a major swirl around Steamboat Island. Ya get stuck in that no power and ya aint going anywhere. Damn, I come by in the boat and the whole boat ass end swings sideways. And ya gotta avoid the debris in the swings as theres gonna be a floater in there. Friend mine had a new repower in his Searay. First time out water smooth and WHAM! Looked back and a damn near telephone pole was bobbing out the water! Knocked his out drive off and got towed in it hanging by one trim ram. Ya gotta pay attention and hope ya miss junk! And yep, bent a few props myself!
