Stop wishing that you kept them. All you need to do is pray that when you wake up tomorrow all cars are in your garage. PS. I am betting fairy tale guy does not come thru.

340 Dart, 440 Coronet RT, Polara rag top, 440/6 Super Bee........,
my friends all freaked when I sold the last one 15 yrs ago.
    Not me though.

Yeah their value would still be climbing but as far as fun cars??? $10k would buy you something 10 yrs old that does everything better.
I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

Still have my 911S Targa though.

Never really had any super desirable muscle cars. I have owned a 70 El Camino but it was a 307 PG 10 bolt car. I did swap the drive train for a 396, TH400 and a 12 bolt that came from a 70 SS El Camino I bought that had bad damage to the right side. The SS had no engine or trans just the 12 bolt. Still had the disc brakes though but never installed them on my Camino. I was in trade school when I had the Camino so I was cash poor.

Also owned a 72 Chevelle with a 402. That was a factory 402 car. Not sure it was ever worth much. It would have needed paint, chrome and interior to be cherry. Also the A/C had been removed like most old muscle cars back then.

What I kick myself over is I passed on a 1500.00 dollar 383 Super Bee with fresh paint back in the early 80's. But was fresh out of trade school and poor. Also had a chance to buy as I remember it, a 63 Falcon with a 429 Boss in it. Might not have been a Falcon as I don't know if you can shoe horn a 429 Boss into one. But the car did have a 429 Boss in it. Again for around 1500 bucks.
Shoulda pooled money with my brother and bought it for the engine. That would have been worth some bucks.
