You're wife's and gf on board?

Do your wife's or girlfriends like going for fast boat rides? . Do they help with the boat.or do you try and keep it a guy thing?.

I personally like the help... getting my motors polished on father's day! .

The wife doesn't like going fast but she does help out some. She built the carbs I run (wh-7's converted to run square float bowls and enrichiner system instead of choke butterflies).

No, not on the same boat; they don't get along all that well.

GF loves the boat, she won't string it out, but she does like to drive.

Ha, my wife's definitely NOT on board.

I told my wife last Fall I was buying my Hydrostream Viking. She said "you are NOT buying a boat". I said, "yes, I am". She said "you are definitely NOT buying a boat".

A few days later "careful not to scratch my boat in the garage"....

I had several weeks of silent treatment before she gave up and realized I wasn't backing down. Now I use my Hydrostream beer coozies when people come over and my kids like to go for rides in it. She still won't ride in it, but my kids and father-in-law will wear her down eventually...

I had an HST before we met and a factory twin 21 Skater when we first started dating 18ish years ago, it's not like she didn't know I was into go-fast boats....

My wife has been over 110. I lied and told her is was "about" 70. Buddy threw me under the bus by telling her he was running over 100 when we passed him. Her favorite is in the jon boat with a trolling motor.

My wife doesn’t care much for fast boating, but she encourages me to buy more boats, because after boat #4, she made a new rule. I get a different boat, she buys a new puppy. The mere thought of house training another puppy destroyed boat shopping as a sport/hobby.

DAMN ! NOW THATS ALL I WILL BE SAYING ALL DAY.......Cat with a cabin...Cat with a cabin...Cat with a cabin. This is worse then the McDonald's jingle that was stuck in my head for yrs,and i don't even eat there. My last girlfriend loved going fast and driving in the 50mph range, she i also the same crazy girlfriend that took a box cutter to my new interior and a hammer to the hull,my current girl hates them and would rather be on the booze cruise boat.

The wife enjoys boats, just not the fast ones. Her speed limit is 60 mph, I’ve tried to slowly bump it up but she watches that speedo like hawk, then the beating begins

Wife doesn't like going too fast in the Allison and she knows I won't sell it so I saw the chance to get her a slower boat she could enjoy if you catch my drift.Click image for larger version.

My wife and daughter are always willing to help out whether it's polishing the boat or pulling the powerhead. My wife is semi ok with speed as my daughter would encourage me to slam the nitrous button on my old STV. Both are great girls to take boating..
