Chest gasket or crack

Reversion, wet air (heavy fog dew)
and well the old old mechanics trick fix the last repair if the symptoms the same.
Pretty easy to goof a gasket, seen a few were they thought it would still work.

wouldn't the compression be real low in that cylinder if the sleeve sunk

Not really on compression, but under water pressure it will leak water.jmo

Got a power head right now with a sunken/shifted register causing water in cylinder 6. Maybe 5 lbs low in compression, but spraying enough water to kill performance. You can check the head and deck/sleeves/registers with a straight edge for low spots. Water can also be coming from chest area through exhaust port as mentioned. I removed the lower unit and spark plug from cylinder getting water. Attached water supply to water tube in mid, then looked into cylinder with borescope to see where water was coming in.
