I have had a couple and they are great motors. A lot of them were FF blocks.

Had one on my sst and it was awesome. Bullet proof ran great never missed a beat. Pretty much a detuned promax. I would buy another on in a heartbeat. Not the fastest but will run forever.

I have 3 blown in my garage. 2 are "FF" one is an "EE". 1 was due to oil injection failure and 2 were fuel injection failure. I like my carbs on those motors. Might not start as easy, but seem to last longer. JMO

I’d say 90% of guys get rid of it. I never got around to doing it on my xri before I sold it. I bought the block off for my promax but the things been running too perfect to bring it home from the river. It’ll happen this winter for sure.

More important that they’re all the same within about 5 psi than that they’re a specific number. The reading may vary from gauge to gauge but they should all be close to the same!
