Motor hung to make it easier to swap PHs. Case has a one piece shaft so it will come apart this week and get swapped. Pulled the extension and studs, contemplating if I can cut the water tube in place......

I bet a 6" set back would make a lot of difference, I used one on my center console and it handles much better. Nice looking set up.

Couple pics from this weekend. Still chasing down a intermittent running issue.

When my kids were young, I put down the interlocking multi-colored squares with alphabet letters on the floor. this way if they fell they didn't get hurt. My daughter would pull the letters from the center of the squares and spell words for my son.

That's a great idea! We have them in the house (hard wood floors) but didn't even think of the boat!

Got the run issue figured out. Bad ign ecm. Running 44 with a 17 enirtia and 19% slip... has plant of grip on plane and with trim. Cavitates in hard turns even tucked in all the way
Need to figure that out. Would like to try a 17 or MAYBE 19 rev 4.

Alright. Got all the stuff swapped over to make the motor a 250EFI. Pulls way Harder. And hits the wall at 5500ish, I could turn the carb set up to 5700 or so. Speed is down (obviously) and still showing 18ish slip.

So.... should I step up to a 19 or work on getting slip numbers down?

Thinking I'm hitting the "soft limiter " and the fuel is going full rich.

Would I be better going up in prop or trying to get slip down?

    Paging @vnemous and @Chaz lol
