Marietta..I have the original 1250BP... minus the BP lower.Unfortunately it has a scorched piston. Boat ran very well with it.The 800 pushes it along 35-39 mph. Also very happy with the fuel economy with the 800, I can play all day hard on 15 gallon. I wish that I would have found this website before I started using the 1250. I've learned enough here to do a link and sync, change timing belts ect.I have always had v8 inboards prior to this boat. The newer boats look like a Clorox bottle with a outdrive to me.Out there using a 45 yr old boat.. knowing most couldn't even get this old stuff to the river..let alone run it 7 days a week.

Floors, carpet original..transom was starting to pull back a bit..had local metal fabrication shop do a custom plate..looks good and solid as can be I've owned many boats over the years..this is my favorite. Easy to get on and off the trailer by myself.. I used to be anti outboard... But now I actually kind of prefer them.
