Building a 10' dinghy/tender

Found a very trick steering drum on e-bay in case I decide to get serious.
The cruiser is for sale so the dinghys future is unknown.

Yes and yes.

If all goes well, I will be buying motors from forkincrazy.
He has a pair of 250 HP loopers I sold him that he is not using.

Just need the time to work on the Convincor.
Havent even had the time to list the blank junk I removed, for seed money for the conversion.

Cheryl and I both, really miss that type of boating.

I think I'll go trailer shopping.

The "PR" on the prop indicates it's a Prop Rider from Michigan Wheel.
A very, very rare, 50 yr old brass prop from when they were building hi perfect props for the fast boats of the day.
You can see all the rake in it.
Just back from Rich at Leading Edge.

When I quit racing I kept a rigged B (20H) then Yamato 80 on a B runabout on a trailer for yrs.
Used it like a jet ski.
Hit the local pond at 3:00 on a Wednesday w/a lawn chair and 5 gallons of gas.
Always went home w/a smile and forgetting that my job sucked.

We shall see.

Cool thing is, you can work on it on your schedule. Look at it like therapy.
If it takes a yr to build, so what?

What I love too, between Clark Craft and Glen-L (and others) you can buy plans for anything you want.
I probably have 20 sets of plans for boats I intended to build (including a 20' cuddy cabin) and havent.
Some of them, like a Mini Max, you could build in a weekend.

Damn!!! That boat came out beautiful. How'd it run with that engine on it? I would have liked to see you put that other engine on it. Good luck with the sale.
