Loved that video. Timo Bernhard's resume reads like a Who's Who of sports car racing so this was a walk in the park for him. Unlimited HP and amazing ground effects in his hands is definitely a formula for success.

Same car, different driver, lapped Spa 0.783 seconds faster than the lap record set last year by Lewis Hamilton in his Mercedes F1 car. Amazing piece of engineering and some spectacular driving.

They are going back to Spa to reset the record. Trying to put it out of reach for an F1 car. As a side note, Seffan Bellof, in a Porsche 956, held the previous record Green Hell lap set in 1983. It's no wonder that the 917-30 killed CAN-AM. When you have no restrictions on Porsche they simply dominate.
