Aluminum edge molding source?
Im waiting to hear back from Rex Marine on a shipping price but they state it has to go freight and we are at opposite ends of the country.
Any other source for a nice pre-drilled aluminum or stainless edge trim?
This is what Im looking at:

I bought some sticks of molding from west marine. The do free shipping to the store, was a bit more money but the free shipping was WAY less in the long run. Dont know if they will have what you need though.

My trim on my little boat looks exactly the same and the only place I could find the rub rail that fit it was from taco!!!

Got mine from Taco for my little Critchfield. Same J molding as on my STV, its not expensive but shipping is more than the molding. A friend has a commercial account so he ordered it through West Marine, did not have to pay their ridiculous retail and shipping was free. All the molding is illustrated on Tacos website.

Taco is in Miami, you could ride down and get it cheaper than the shipping.

Taco Metals . I have an account but a 200.00 minimum for truck shipment or else freight applies . 32 years with them means nothing .

This reminds me of the Hydrosteam days, a windshield cost more to crate and ship than the windshield itself

Chris,
You can drive over to their shop in longwood and pick it up. I don't think that they have anything anodized though. Part # A50-0272TAL12D

Most pieces are twenty feet long, hence shipping issues $.

Sure wish I could get some like is on the stv but anodized black, Im sure everyone would want it if it was available..I don't think the stuff with the insert like in the pic above will make the bends up at the front..Dave
