Right?? When a 2.0 especially and 2.4/5 carb fishing motors are done correctly in fishing environments they are just about indestructible

you knkw how many many of those motors are original and still being used on fishing boats in tournamnts every weekend they get their necks rung on a daily basis and keep coming back for more??? I see TONS of them lol.

Yep! My ‘79 2.0 probably has more hours at WOT than at idle though...

Well another season is upon us fellas! I wanted to follow up on the Cajun motor saga. The motor ran fine all season and I,m glad I made the trip. I do miss the oyster Poboy sammich...
This year I refreshed both fuel pumps, plugs and filters. Godspeed to all mercs running the seas!
