Another DW 28 getting close

Dan has a newfound love for his DW28 after getting his trim indicators dialed-in. Said he ran 118 with he and his brother in the boat last weekend, and it was still gaining when he ran out of water.

This is from last August with 20lbs of water pressure. Dan is much more comfortable knowing exactly where his trim is at now as Dale said. These are the fastest twin 300 cats in the 24 to 30 foot range. As the next 3 get rigged, we will be pushing things a little more with engine heights etc.

Ran the boat March 18th - 2 people - 90 gallons of fuel - 14 1/2 x 34 round ear thru hub 5 blade Dewald cleavers that we’re tuned up at Frank & Jimmys. A very easy 119 MPH at 6200 RPM.
These boats are very trim sensitive - the stock Mercury trim senders are not even close to being accurate and could get you in big trouble . I also went to 50 weight oil in the trim pumps -
big improvement.

JPEROG, stock mids on your Demo boat? Also, in the first post pics, that hull had a transom set up for a triple rig?

Yes, the motors will be stock 300XS. The transoms are set up for single, twin, or trips. The deck would have an additional hump for a center motor application.
