Paul's Talon 22 XL shipped out

The first Talon 22 XL to ever have an outboard shipped out today. This was quite a project for the SEB crew. Not only was this the first multi gel boat done by the crew, but it was the first XL to be completed with an outboard. A ton of modification went into this build. The interior is being built for this boat in California where the boat is going to its new home. We will post more pictures as they finish it up.

Yes, an Ohio customer has a XL with twin 300xs on order. Not sure of the build date, but it is this year. His buddy is the one who has the 26' AO with twin 400R's being built. Will keep you posted.

We are building the first SEB 24 Cat right now. A post will start soon on it. Thanks

The boat was been rigged and tested here. The interior is the only thing left to install. I forget who they said was installing the interior, either DCB, Eliminator or KMG, one of those 3. Since we out source our interiors, it made more sense for them to do it to the owner's liking out there.

The SEB 24 Cat is the old 24 Skater copy molds from Black Wolf Racing. After lots of discussion with the owner and 3 potential buyers. We made a deal to buy the molds if 3 guys put down deposits. The 3 guys came through, so we bought the molds. The first one is in production right now and under way. We will post more as we get closer to a finished product. Thanks Todd

Not really on the first ones. I was not going to do the project, but Mercury has assured me that the new 300hp 4 stroke that will be coming out soon will weigh less than the 300xs does. That is the only reason we are reviving the project.

I'm scratching my head on this one. If they come out with a 300hp 4 stroke that weighs less than the 300xs, what does that do to Verado Pro 300 sales??

One will fall under Mercury Marine and the other will fall under Mercury Racing. Two different plants.
