No..Guido Cappellini (left) have not disappeared from boat racing. He is the Team Manager for the 2017 UIM F1 World Champion.
Shaune Torrente is one of his drivers for 2018.

This is Carl XVI Gustaf the current King of Sweden and his Evinrude as a boy..

Below is another King and his Evinrude..

Its a racing report in a major news paper in Sweden and the headline is saying the "King of Boat racing"..
Pretty funny and nice..
Yes Lasse "Strömming" was my nickname back then..(herring in English)..!!

Yes it’s the same location we run the F1-V8 series 1983/84 and -85.

My first year (1983) in the F1-V8 series started up pretty tough.
Lake Como May 14-15 was flooded rainy and windy..the race was run under very difficult conditions.
Next race was in Ampolla, Spain south of Barcelona May 28-29 . I could not believe it when we got there with my race truck.
The race course was on the open unprotected water of the Mediterranean..We could not even practice because of the large 3 to 4 feet waves. I remember they forced the F3 class to race and my brother Lennart won.
The F1-V8 race in Ampolla was canceled.
First picture is the race course the second the 1983 F1-V8 calendar.

oh coool, i search the calendar, position race, points table f1 v8 1983 1984 1985 but 1986 1987 1988 1989 it's more difficult for me because the championship v8 f1 just in usa, not press tv or book, in france, next time i'll show you my archive book f1v8 with some pitures, mickael
