Yamaha bolt on super chargers
I saw something similar before but just found this in south Florida boating paper.
Interesting.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

There is a lake and bay flats boat on you boob with one of these on a 250 sho. They claim 100 mph. Don't look like 100 on the vid and no gps shown. So idk....I killed them by telling them a 300xs merc had already gone 103 on the same hull. With the gps vid to back it up.

They claim 100+ on a fishing setup. Trolling motor, batteries. And it is a full bottom hull, no pocket

They have another vid with the boat stripped. Still not doing 100. (IMO only) And if you say it, you have to prove it... That's the way it's always been. They are running 28p 4 blade props and that makes it impossible mathmatically. They need a 34p prop with 10% slip at 6500 r's to get 100. I kinda know the guys doing it and they are good guys but not ready for 100 in an open boat. The wind at 100 nearly blows you out of the boat. Sitting down in a stream doing 100, and sitting in a swivel seat operating with no foot throttle, is two different worlds.

Interesting. It should be much quicker with 450 hp. I thought I saw on instagram 101.4 mph at 6400 rpm with a 32p. Who knows. Still a lot faster than I would want to be on a flats boat
