Use it if you have it, that seems to be the word from those who have these years.

I have access to 2 of these seems like they are quite rare and very desirable as to what i have read up on here.
But and its a big but are they worth £100 or $140 as most of the readers are US Is there a point in which the price out waysn the power.
Like once you have your bang for buck biggies like carbs ect ect then the more you spend on equals very little more power.
Is this one of the best bang for buck addons ????Last edited by spybot; 02-13-2018 at 08:39 AM.

without that your motor will never be anything like a 140.. if this is an original 1977 140 tuner its the dog bollocks and you need it.
yes they are rare and 100 quid for it is a good deal.
have you checked that this will bolt to your adaptor, or have you got to weld it on ?
and will this fit in the can ? if you have a can. or are you going to put a couple of vents on the lower or a snout ?
need a metal water pump housing of a good flow of water over the pump to stop it melting.

They only made it for one year,do you need it NO you wont gain much save your money. Its free to just cut off your tuner at 8 inches and yes as phil said you will need to weld in a small plate to block off the exhaust from melting the pump housing.
I may be slow but im ahead of you. *hit's only ankle deep but you went in head first.

Shifted that on phew!
From now on i will ask and wait for advice before buying ANYTHING !
There will be no cutting of my exhaust, if the factory thought it didnt need it well i think they know best.
If any one can learn something from this thread, it must be this
If in doubt ask there is a VAST amount of knowledge on here and people will help keep you right.
