You may want to try a smaller pitch with a little tip cup and vent holes as well. The 3.6 does not like bigger pitch thru hub props.

Here are some pictures of the propeller. I am planning to purchase the setback during this weekend to see if that solve the issue. Click image for larger version.

Did you do what Al said? Just hit it hard from idle and see how it pulls out of the hole.

With my Scarab (30' with twin V8's), the quickest way on plane was to go full throttle from idle. The motors would rev up to about 2400rpm or so and start the boat moving. Just before it would roll over, the props would break loose and rev way up. I'd pull the sticks back to hold the engines at 4500rpm and it would bit and go.

People we are talking about a Boston Whaler, Wrong lower (wont need a nose cone), Motor needs to go lower (cav plate closer to bottom of boat), shouldnt need to ventilate the prop (with right setup and prop). Needs a 25" motor, probably doesnt have to go back further. We have many customers with this boat and non need setback. Of course they are not overpowering it but thats cause this is not a performance hull. Just my opinion, I think people are all over the place on this. Back to basics its a family boat for fishing and crabbing. Yeah it could go fast, anything overpowered will (might) at what expense?

Well I don't live nearby the shore, therefore, I will need to take every step one by one. I expect to do some testing during the next weekend.

Well team here is the update:
I installed a 6” setback from bob’s (Backwards). And conduct the test with the same propeller. The engine is now like 1(1/2)” lower than before. With that, the boat planes like a normal setup. To me it seems that can go higher. However, because the boat finally planes, I noticed that the engine has some issues. Idle is good, check fuel pressure and it was higher than 5 PSI, check each carburetor and all of them has same spray pattern, change plugs, disconnect the power pack white wire(protection wire),and issue continued. The issue is that the engine does not go higher than 3500 RPM at Wide Open Throttle. Based on that, I will be focused in the electrical system (Time base, power pack, stator). I purchased everything new to avoid this kind of issue. All the electrical system is new from wiring to coils and the other electrical components. I will do some testing, let see if I finally enjoy the setup.
