1996 Allison xr2001 river racer

Very clean original gel 1996 river racer with a very nice 260 Merc with a lot of attention to detail . Boat was re rigged all wiring is soldered & shrink tube all plumbing is AN fittings all brackets for mounting the accessories are custom made. Has new Auto meter gauges with GPS speedo new Bosch 044 pump and new water pump this fall. Bottom is clean never beached with unmolested pad top of the boat is original gel and shines like new. Trailer is original and is in nice condition with new tires not a rusty mess like most. The motor is a 92 260 Merc that has 32.4 hours on it since a complete rebuild by Wintech Machine of Big Bend Wisconsin I am also the original owner of the motor so it is not some piece that has traded hands over the years you can contact me for the specifics on the motor if you are interested. This is a turnkey needs nothing boat that will include a factory Allison cover that fits the boat perfectly and any extras I have including the life jackets. I have put less then 10 gallons of gas through it in the last 2 years and simply do not use it. It has always been stored in my climate controlled shop and I will store it free of charge for the new owner until spring. Please contact me if you would like more info or pictures. Absolutely stunning, timeless design, perfect motor for it, needs nothing, one of the most rewarding boats to drive, on the planet, at a great price.

Thank you every one for the nice words I have had a lot of questions about the boat and to sum it up I will say it is probably the cleanest original non butchered XR2001 of this age and price point the pictures do not do it any justice as they are a bit grainy looking. I also do have a clear Wisconsin title for it in my name and for the trailer as well. If you are serious about buying it PM and I will give you my phone number.

this boat was Darrell Miller and Lee sandersons raceboat for a few years (a very well taken care of raceboat) then sold to a guy in Nc where he had it for about 5-10 years maybe used it 5 times sat in a garage when it wasnt being used, then sold to my brother, it was used as a river boat, this boat is super clean and a quick boat, good luck with sale

Beautiful rig! I see you have the 56psi regulator...what ECU is on the motor and how tight are the heads (i.e. what cc)? Thank you.

Once again thank you for the nice compliments on the boat It is a Two seater and it has a A-14 box on it I do not know the exact ccs of the head as we shaved them a couple of different times to get the compression up to where we wanted it. It has between 145 & 150 psi in all six cylinders and it still runs safely on pump gas. The motor is actually a pretty stout piece but I will get into that with any potential buyers.
