Very familiar with dingle berry hones, it's what I have used in years past.
Not having a plateau in hand to compare...why is the plateau better? Or is it just a preference thing?

Wat angle cross hatch works best on the mer v6 I've got mine around 40-45 deg.

plateau does what is says to smooth the bore from any high parts that the other tools cannot do
