Here are a couple pictures of the beautiful interior work (standard on the DW28) completed by Willy Sturgis. He will do whatever color combination that you desire and gives you a layout with each panel numbered so that you can pick what goes where. The carbon and custom dash, glove box, shifter box, etc are his creations as well.

Willy Sturgis killed it on my interior! Nicest interior I've had! Truly a work of art!

XS motors are on the first 4, this one included. Its a lot of extra stuff going on for a 400 imo.-I talked Paul out of them (he had them already paid for). If 125 isn't fast enough for someone then put a set of X motors on it is my thinking.

I completely agree Joe. Having ridden in Dan's 28, I would highly recommend against 400Rs on that boat. Not only does the boat perform great with 600hp, but it wouldn't like the size/weight of the 400Rs hanging off the transom. Also, everybody has to realize that the two stroke 300s out-accelerate the 400Rs anyways - and isn't that half the fun in a boat that size?

I think that 30 deserves 3x motors and you could really lay down the law on acceleration. There are two 2004s with zero hours on them only a phone call away and we could easily find a 3rd with low hours, convert them to 15" and look out....Accel is for sure what puts a grin on my face.

Hahaha, that would defeat the purpose of what I'm doing to it Joe! It would get worse fuel economy than it did, and still not accelerate or mph as crazy as it did with the Sterlings in it. I will be very happy with my 30 when it's all dialed-in, I'm sure. I will make some videos of Dan and I running together when my 30 is finished. As for acceleration, that's what I have my STV and my hydro for - the Skater is for super-cruise!

What the time frame on it at this point? Fuel is cheap in the big picture, inboard parts and labor are not. I forget that you have the missile to satisfy the true speed junkie within.

Hey Ron, my buddy Rick Bowling went for a ride in that DW360 back in Florida and said he couldn't believe how sluggish it was on acceleration. He said the boat was very nice, but you couldn't even feel it when the driver pushed the sticks forward. Nothing against the boat really, just that the combination of a 36' cat w/ 400Rs was less than impressive to say the least.

The 30 goes in the paint booth next week Joe, and depending on when Merc releases the 2018 motors, I should have it by June. I honestly distance boat with my 30 (150-200 miles per outing), so I've always really not cared about the acceleration that much with it. And yes, my hydro takes care of any/all craziness within my empty skull - even if it's only a few times a year!

I would be shaking for week after standing in that thing for 6 seconds. I think we are staying up North by you for the show. Looking forward to dinner one night at prime fish-

Rick is right, I spent a pretty good amount of time in that 36 with Myric and unless those motors are above 6500, they do nothing for me. The boat overall is pretty amazing but I would have 3 in a row to make it go.
