280offshore trimpump.
Need to replace my trim pump on a 280 offshore. Anyone have any good experience with aftermarket? What brand? Is it worthwhile or stick with factory unit? Thanks for your input.

Bobs seems to be ok, faster trim too.

I got a trim unit from DB electrical online for my bobs jack plate. Works great. You can buy just the motor or the whole deal.

Ain't it great to have papa TRUMP back at the helm?

Thanks for the info, I was thinking about going with Bob's, but will check into DB also.

I like my bobs pump, it is a little faster, a little lighter and cheaper. Can buy a couple new bobs for the mercruiser price.
Gotta change out one of the fittings though. Or at least I needed too.

Thanks, looks like that's the way to go. Looks like I can get one and change over solenoids and mounting bracket pretty reasonably priced.
