Try the Allison owners board
i have 8" setback on my SS2000. I would think 8-12 would suit you. I start 1/2" below the pad and hit the up button cautiously until I get minimal increase in speed.

Nice! Same colors as mine. My GSE has 10" of setback with a 2006 200XS with 1.75 sportmaster. For props I run a 24" Hydromotive Quad IV-X O/T for general boating and watersports and a 26" Hydromotive Quad IV-OT for when I want some more speed. Think I am conservatively set up around 1/2 below the pad.

If you have money for new, Hydromotive know Allisons and can tune the prop for your boat. For general use I've had good luck with used Trophies.

How much setback is on there now? Looks pretty big. What gearcase? Coned 200? At 10"-12", 1/2" below will be too low. If it's at 12" back, you can easily start at 1/4" below and go up from there. Most likely, you'll end around 1/4"-1/2" above. Hoss Triton, ET's, Drag 4 all work well. And Todd at Hydromotive can definitely help you if you want to go new. He also has a GS, so he knows these boats.

As others have said, Todd at Hydromotive is the man for setting this boat up, give him a call!
