Congrats Baker. Your boat looks like it takes a good set.

If anybody wants to watch the race it can be viewed on YouTube. Type in Blue Water Resort and Casino Parker Enduro.

I didn't see the boat but I know the driver was ok and the boat sustained significant damage.

After all the hubbub about the 110mph rule, I believe Ross said the fastest speed on the GPS's and radar on course was 104 or 106. This is certainly not an issue with the Div 2 COR type boats.

Good run you had Keith. Boat was looking good!

Thanks Keith. We need you back out there. The course seemed a little rougher and we were only doing 80ish.

Found out it was Mr. Lloyd and I don't believe he blow over but came down real hard.
There was about four spots on the course that would get your attention in a hurry. Mr. Lloyds (the winning Div) was probably consistently running mid 90's to 100, 90% of the time. I'm surprised that we only had one real scare

He was pitted next to us. Super clean Alison running a 2L stock sst120. Gave him a voltage Regulator to keep him running.
I think he was on the heavy side 1600lbs or more without driver. First time I've seen a Allison run the Enduro
Probably running 75ish. Not bad first time racing and with a new boat. Would have been cool to see it run with a 260 or more or maybe a tuber?

Maybe one day. The short course was always rougher, even though I usually ran the last leg (lightest driver in the smoothest water). After the 2014 Enduro, I went round and round with the race director about how a certain individual ignored the rules and even with video/photo proof of the infraction, was told that WE did it wrong. I decided then and there that it wasn't worth the aggravation after the fact. Racing is supposed to be fun, but I found that after each race, I was generally pissed about something unsportsmanlike that was done, for at least a week. Don't need that in my life...back to PLEASURE boating.

It seems that at almost every Race/Event there is some question of racing etiquette, rules infractions or drama, hard to believe right?
You would think that we were supporting our families or winning huge prize money instead of forking out our own to enjoy these races.
The Parker Enduro is still historic and the planning, Prep work, testing and the race if you can finish, is a blast enjoyed with family and friends.
Just ask racer who had a grin from ear to ear and he's raced a few of these.

You would think life and livelihood depended on the win the way some people drive. The racing is a blast, and so is everything surrounding the racing. Sucks that, as usual, one bad apple spoils the fun...but it's not my livelihood and I only did it for fun and competition. It is a blast, and I'll likely be back at some point.
