Lars, This should be right up your alley! A factory CCC (going on Mark Rotharmel's #11 Molinari) beside a hopped up later 90 degree Loop Charged motor. Both sporting 6-pac CCC carbs. The Looper has a Dave Bush sleeve and piston kit installed, Wayne Taylor X-Front, and complete Yamaha ignition. The HP/Torque numbers are staggering! Check out this Dave Bush video of a similar build, but with FI.

Yup. Looks like some air bleeding addressed with the high connections.

The powerhead with the text V6 on the exhaust manifold is the stock looper block.

It's the other one Lars. Look at the transfer covers.

It's the other one Lars. Look at the transfer covers ; it ain't a looper. And the other one looks completely modified,; ignition, flywheel , heads, water plumbing etc.

That is correct Lars. You can also tell it's late model ( as in, late '90's and up) w/the step on the top of the back of the exhaust housing.
I think the F-1 V-8 is also the only looper w/the cross flow style heads w/water jacket covers on them.
Compare to heads on the fish block.

I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

On more picture of the two powerheads.
    The closer one is the CCC/RS 2.448/2.6 liter cross-flow introduced 1976 as a 2.448 liter cross-flow

To be absolutely correct the Crossflow is a genuine 2.4 CCC, but we couldn't find the correct crankshaft. It has a NOS standard 200/235 odd fire crank. The CCC driveshaft will be splined and two stub shafts made. One will be standard CCC length and the other will be 1.1" longer to engage the stock 200/235 crankshaft completely. (because it doesn't have the lower balancer)
The Looper is a '07 block with a Dave Bush sleeve and piston kit installed, bringing it to 3.3L. The wayne Taylor X-front with CCC carbs is apparent. The complete ignition is Yamaha. This is very similar to the motor in the video (above), but has carbs vs FI. BTW, it weighs 220#s.
