    Gotta love the old OMC braintrust. All the "right" design patents were already taken. External electric trim gear trim & tilt, cavitation plate exhaust, rubber transom boot, internal electro-magnet gearcase shifting, all held together with oversize gearcase snap-rings. Never a dull moment. Thanks for the reminder & laugh again Greg.

    Is it truly power, or is the motor cooked so you have to use the manual crank handle????

    Silly rabbit...Any idiot can tell that the deck isn't cut out for clearance for a manual crank handle!! So, the answer is YES!...it IS truly a power winch. Come on Pete, you know this stuff better than anyone!
