This one looks like a V-King, but the angle of the photos makes it somewhat difficult to judge the length. But you can see that this one has two strakes on each side, which is unique to the V-King. The early first and second generation Hydrostream hook-nose V-bottoms (Viper, Vector, Vantage, Venus, Vulture) all had three lifting strakes on each side, as well as a rounded upper deck edge line where it meets the transom well.

Nice colors, but being a 1979, like @1BadAction says, I bet the core is in very bad shape unless it was professionally repaired. The comments on the "new transom" are funny.

You know, it's funny - I give the seller credit for most-likely accurately stating the boat's speed, but 300-horsepower? I don't think so. Where do people come up with these numbers? I bet that boat does run 80-mph though - even with a stock 200 it will run 80. And look at that huge bow light. I haven't seen something like that except on very old boats. Those seats are very strange. They look fairly well-made, though. It's difficult to tell in the photos, but something looks strange with the starboard outer-chine on that boat. Almost looks like it has a slight hook to it, when it should be straight. Not sure though.

If you check out the website of that dealer (the Hydrostream is not listed there), they have some pretty cool cars. But their prices seem awfully high to me.
