Depends on how heavy boat is, but three is generally faster and a 4 blade packs the weight better.

I was advised to run a 4 Blade SS prop on my 16 Schuster Tahiti with a 150 Optimax hanging off the back. The Bass Boat guys told me I needed the lift of a 4 blade to get the transom up and out of the water. I started with a 20 P MI Wheel and it really worked, now running a 22 P 14.5 and the hole shot is brutal as the bow goes up lays flat and doing 30 mph......Hate to be a skier behind it. next will be a 23 P Ballistic MI Wheel.
I still need to get the Jack Plate installed and play around getting a bow tank mounted.

You'll need ALL the lift you can muster with a 4 blade, I don't think any 3 blade can do it. Need more setback too. You're really underpowered for that size boat so it will be a battle to "get her up".
