    If the boat runs good on a portable tank, then it would indicate a problem with the built in tank. Thousands of these boats have been run for years w/o an electric pump. I would investigate the pick up and hoses again before I ran an electric pump for no real valid reason. 15' is no problem with 3/8'' fuel line and fittings. jm2cts

    There's the culprit. Thank the know it all's from the BIA and feds for requiring that POS.

    Yep - that was it- Took it to full throttle and held it there with out issue-

    Every experienced boat owner on here has fought with those things before, it just comes with the territory. Keep in mind that since it was removed, if the end of the fuel hose goes lower than the gas level it WILL siphon the fuel out of the tank. When you modify these kind of nanny safety features, you become the safety officer.....

    This something like my 20th boat to own and I never had an issue with it before- never had a 15' gas line either- if the hose gets below the tank on this tank - then the boat will be upside down ):
