    What sparkplugs do the mercury 260 use with 34cc heads?

    I've used NGK - BR9HS gapped on .035 since 1995 except for Winter Months or if I'm expecting o do a lot of idling then I'll go a step hotter to a BR8HS!

    If I remember right my late model 260 came with BUZHW?

    The Z plugs were for electrical interference issues, rarely needed but 3 times the price.

    Yes, they do but IMO the Gapable plugs seem to work better. Also you can't read a surface gap plug!

    Don't remember why, but i've been running BPZ8H-N-10 with good luck.No fouling and no holes.

    You guys can use the $6 spark plugs if you want, but the BR9-HS 10 (B9HS-10 for carb motors) are about $2 at Auto Zone or Advance and work just as well or better. AND you can read them!!!

    The old l6 motors would burn the Centre electrode to the diameter close to a pin. V6s not.

    I've been using bu8h's for ever. + if you ever got on the bad side of that huge coil they put on the inline distributor motors you'd know why they would burn down spark plugs lol.
