    It was an HST, I did the step in mine a long time ago, on long sweeping corners the nose would drop, which was fine, but unless there was some chop it would stick there for a few moments. It solved that and makes cool noises when the boat sits at rest. Put one in the notch in the back too but it resulted in nothing.

    I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

    I think the injection of micro bubbles under the bow of a ship might have something to do with reducing the drag of the bow wave. It is a fact that if enough air bubbles are introduced under a displacement hull that it will cause it to sink lower in the water. I know that wet sanding with 600 grit on the bottom of an RC boat makes a very noticeable difference in performance.
