    New Product Thread

There was a new product thread started the other day about a block coming out of Europe. Seems it went POOF for some reason. Does anyone remember the originators S&F handle? Id like to make direct contact with them.

I was wondering the same thing. I'll never afford either of the high dollar options but I love reading about them and the technology used.

I think Caldwells attorney had something to do with it.

Yea? I was at a race boat club meeting this weekend and it seems things got rather dicey before the thread went poof. Any way Ive tried reaching out to him via other means.

CRT Got butthurt and had his attorney post based on a screen shot of a drawing on the internet. Based on what was said, they must have the patent on designing things in a 3D model. Guess I better quit my job before I get sued.

At any rate, VRP actually builds motors to sell to racers. I'm sure he'll come out with something, we just aren't going to hear anything about it on here now. That's ok, I suppose there's plenty of "whats the best oil", "OMC vs Merc" and "my hydrostream core CANT be rotten" threads to keep everyone entertained.

I looked for his profile too Bud. What a shame. His project looked more finished as a motor instead of just a piece of billet. He sure would fill a void making a cast block!!!

I've reached out to him via other means. Wont comment further on the two blocks as not to stir up any Crap. But I already know which direction Ill be traveling based on the jerk and snatch around I've personally witnessed thus far as production dates/cost etc.

I fell off a turnip truck but it wasn't yesterday.

Still pretty crappy to take down a thread that a bunch of us "contributed" to; without any explanation.

We really don't know what happened. The author of the thread is no longer a member. He and or the powers at be probably took it down because they didn't want any possible involvement in overseas litigation. And I don't blame them. Better to drop it and spend your money and time on the project at hand than on a stinking lawsuit!!!

    Too bad, what a shame.

One is a scum sucking bottom dweller.

And the other is a fish!!!

So an American attorney (more or less) sending a cease and desist or threatening a company in Italy?

    Huh???? Yeah, Ok.

Patents can only be violated if its a exact copy of the design. As far as these billet Motor concepts??? Who knows whose done what. But I know its illegal to try and corner a market.
