Me too Dale, Talked to Jim many times and he was always will to share what he knew when we spoke about the 28's. He was really looking forward to the engine project they had going with the 3.0 liters.
They for sure will be missed. It has been a tough year in offshore this year. Still cannot believe it.
Just hurts.

First time I met Garth was 2010 at LOTO Shootout with my 28. Garth came by the dock and we talked boats he really loved the 28 Skaters. I got to spend time over a few beers in August at the LOTO Shootout with Garth and Jim at the Camden pool bar. Both were great guys
Prayers for his family what a tragic loss.

This is very sad.... RIP to the guys who went doing what they love to do..
I too knew Jim
I spoke to Jim and his son a few times about coming down to Miami to link up so we could do the Key West Poker Run sometime in his 28 Skater, which in my opinion is the Baddest 28 ever built! and one of the boats that inspired me to get a Skater.(His boat was my screansaver on my office computer for years) He was a great guy and will be missed.
Prayers to both of the families
