Just came back from the East Hartford Launching Ramp, and the Connecticut River is at its lowest level that I have ever seen. I realize the River is tidal, but please be careful and stick to the channel unless you have local knowledge. We don't want any dinged props or busted lower units.

Also, there are still a lot of large clumps of weeds floating down the river. Please be careful that your cooling system doesn't get blocked.

It might be a good idea to bring a pair of boots with you to use when you beach your boats so you can get to dry ground.

I'm expecting to be up there about 1:30-2. Heading south to check out the beach and see if I can find any loose cookies.

Of course, this is assuming I don't die in a fiery crash on I-95

I'm in for tomorrow have not been down for a few years, got the stream all set for some vintage speed. No worries on pizza I'll bring some snacks I'm late on the decision I will chip in though just to keep it fair, thanks for doing this......
I live on a river in MA and yes as Bob said, expect clumps of dead grass and debris all the stuff that grows along the banks is dying and being floated away so have your navigators keep an eye out and drivers watch for signs of clogged intakes!
