Tyler Whitehead owns the v8 and he was not there to run unlimited. Erik is spot on about the mercury motors and has the data to back it up.

I have all the RAW files for every picture I took so they can be touched/cleaned up if need be.

The v8 did not come to race unlimited. They were working on a tune and the mad scientist was stuck in fl during the hurricane. I'm sure his phone was ringing off the hook

There was a boat here in Madison Ms that was ready for the Moss Point, Mississippi race and Jasper but was told that no one else would show and that the ones that had been racing this season blew their motors. It would be nice to see a few spray boats consistently again

Glad I could help Chaz. I am not certain why the images were turned sideways, they were oriented correctly when on the computer. If you want/need them to be tuned up a little to make them brighter or more crisp I have the RAW files for all of the pictures I can get you as well.

One day I am gonna load up and come pay a visit to you and a few other folks on my 'friends I gotta meet' list so I have someone to chat with about all this technical stuff as I have no one around me that shares my interest and passion. I start talking and they just stare at me with a blank expression or wander off in search of someone else to talk with.

Yea well I wish I would have spent a little more time with you guys. I walked up around the ramp looking for your group but didn't see anyone so I wandered back to my lonely seat in the back of the class.

That's a great question isn't it? I can't explain how I missed you guys, I wandered a bit and boat traffic seemed to be getting worse and worse so I thought I would wander back the other way so I wasn't in anyones way. Or didn't get ran the hell over, whichever may happen first!
