    Vector, what's it worth?

Looking at a 83 hydrostream vector wondering what it's worth? Exterior is in pretty good shape, has new core, stringers, floor, looks like a very nice well done job. Also comes with all new interior, seats, trim and carpet that are not installed. With trailer in ok shape and 2.4 175 Mercury not mounted, good compression. No prop,no jack plate. I can buy for 3500. To much ???

Depends on you really. Do you like it the way it is? Motor/boat combo?

A working Vector that is almost turn key needing nothing major for 3500?

I think so. But opinions vary. Make the guy an offer and see if he gives in some...

If you were to do the restore work yourself, you would likely spend half that asking price in materials..not to mention the grunt and sweat you will provide to get it done.

If the trailer is usable I can't see where you could go wrong if you really want a stream and don't want to all the dirty work or spend the big bucks for a pristine, turn key rig. Rigging the boat can be rewarding as you will control the safety factor. JMO Gary

Sounds like it's worth about 3500 bucks
