Just throwing this out there but a few years ago we went and stayed at the floating cabins at Hales Bar Marina. It was a very cool place to stay. Theres a ramp right next to the property and you can dock your boat right at your cabin. Makes going for a quick ride at any time really easy.
Its right on the river just a few minutes up from where the run starts. They come right by.
There is also an old damn on the property that they do haunted tours of. Kinda fun. We went out lurking around after cocktails one night and found a children's cemetery from the 1800's half grown over. Very creepy but cool.

I will be bringing a 3.0 sportmaster lower for sale. The case, gears and driveshaft have about 1 hour on them. Prop shaft, fat, and carrier were the only used parts. Its 20 inch 1.75 gear ratio, swept skeg. Just trying to save someone shipping hassle. I will take $3000 nor a penny less or it will just take the ride back to Jerseyland
