    The new XL we are building now, will be built as if is is going to have twins on it. Our customer is on the fence between twin 300xs or a single 400R right now. If it was up to me, it would have the twin 300xs on it.

    The Talon 22 SS is the original outboard mold. Started production is 1990. The Talon 22 XL, which started production around the 1995 era, is the original inboard mold that now can be set up for an inboard or outboard(s). The sides on the XL are about 6" higher, it is a little wider, deeper tunnel and about 6 inches longer than the SS.

    If I remember correctly (and I could be wrong) the hull running surface is not longer..just the top deck to accomodate the I/O..

    This is the SS. The new XL will be popped next week. I like to let them sit in the molds awhile.

    We have changed our mold release program and the new stuff we are using now is state of art. We pulled this deck, trimmed it and flipped it. You can see the dust on it from trimming it, but it shines like it has been buffed already.
