It is going to be a pleasure boat. Not a race boat.

Thought the ROS had to be raced in 3 races if purchased?

No question that Randy has become the king of detail and he has a customer base that can afford to buy these as a "easy to run-trouble free 2nd boat" along with appealing to standard the outboard customer. Its nice to see options if you have the money to go out and buy a new hull right now. This size boat has all of the players involved Doug, DCB, Skater, Chris's new Phoenix, Predator, MTI, and rumor is that Kosker is close at Mystic. That's a lot of choices and egos on the line...

No twins. In talking to the guys at Skater they are saying boat should come in under 5000lbs. They are really working on keeping it light. Grant is going to rig it.
FYI also in case you all haven't heard the 32' Skater on the west coast that weighs 6200lbs went 111 the other day.
It is the same owner building the 36.

Sorry just how i look at things. I would be enbarest to own a slug like that i would feel ripped off!!. With performance of anything else the more ya pay the faster you are. If that boat was 100 grand maybe not so bad only doing under 120mph but if i payed close to a half a million she better not be beat buy a 28ft Skater with twin 300X motors for 70 grand or an Allison XB2002 with a 300 2.5 bass boat at 125mph for 20 grand!! If she cant do 140+ mph and costs 400+ thousand dollars how many can she sleep or how many can dine on board! haha
