I'm Always Amazed by
The number of shadetree wanna'bez that attempt to fix a problem by surfing the internet and yet not having the common sense to pull their engine cowl without reading instructions!!
Time and time again after they think they have it fixed, things don't work so they immediately think they have further problems.
People......working on your ignition will not magically create a problem with your carbs or your lower unit!!!!!
I guess some are still looking for where the muffler bearings go!
Sorry, but at my age I get aggravated pretty easy when it's too hot to fish!!!!!
BTW: Murphy's law was written for all men, gifted or not!!!

Bohdi, That's similar to what happened to my motor on our last run, muff bearings got wet from that yacht, darn near fell out and I had to idle back to the ramp.

These are the same folks that when they ask to borrow a screwdriver, you need to ask if they want a plus or a minus!

A little off topic, but obviously the same family tree...... I worked for 45+ years as a mechanic, started out going to OMC school in 1970. Spent most of my career at auto dealerships, this is a TRUE story. I actually got a single line warranty ticket that read " cigarette lighter gets hot after use"!! Well duhhh, wasn't it just glowing red & started a fire just past the tip of your nose??? WTF did ya expect??? Did ya touch it to figure that one out
.....I'm not sure who I was more dumbfounded by, the customer that thought it was an issue, or the service writer that actually wrote a ticket like that .

If you have those new synthetic windshield wiper blades, you need to run synthetic washer fluid.
Don't forget to rotate your balsamic arbitrators.
And top off your blinker fluid before every long roadtrip, you don't want to run out of it and be blinker-less for a few states. Only states ending in a vowel carry the stuff. (some silly 1800's law).
