Parker all the boats were sold some time ago as Whipper mentioned. The motor collection is in good hands - no further discussion is necessary.
I crewed for Lee on a part-time basis for the latter years of his racing career. He was a great guy and I learned a lot from him. He was a real character and I don't think I've met anybody who loved outboard racing more than he did. Lee was "on the tools" his entire career, despite owning the dealership. Even if we'd had a rough week and long drive to the races, he would absolutely light up when we got to the pits
To answer the questions above, I believe the 48 boat in the video is his old Mod-U Seebold (that is a pretty old picture). The STV logo refers to the fact that Lee was a STV dealer for many years. The red boat is not a Scycraft, it's a wood Seebold, 1996ish if I recall correctly. The last pic of the other 48 boat is a wood Hoffman, 1998 I believe.

Thanks for all the kind words guys, Lee was a mentor to me in boat racing, early on he sold me a brand new 88 Charger /STV with a Bridgeport, then later he offered me a deal i could not refuse (when i was in my early 20's), he sold me a real nice seebold for a great price and complete minus gearcase and powerhead but also agreed to sponsor me for all the powerheads and gearcases i could use up for the first two years, so we went and raced SST140, which was basically a stock 2.4 bridgeport with carburetors... awesome class of racing... we would run the 140 class and also enter the Champ(F1) and Mod-U classes so it was great, we would get on the water 6 times on sat and same on Sunday... was great fun... later we moved up to legit F1 with all the right stuff.... he taught me so much over the years about engine building, he always did it the right way... no cheap routes... he would come by my shop on a regular basis, he helped me build a new powerhead about 8 months ago, i think he really enjoyed that day...
He will live on with his race engine collection which has been bought by a local collector who intends to keep it intact along with his current collection... i am thrilled to see that is happening... all of the boats you see posted in here so far all still have a life... the Red Seebold is owned by Mike Maskall and was crashed in Seafair two years ago, but is almost fixed and may be there for this years race in two weeks... Lee's White Hofman is owned by Roland Shoenfeld and will be racing is Port Alberni next week and Seafair two weeks after that... the older Seebold with the two tone blue is currently being raced my Mike Maskalls son Kyle... it will be at Seafair and Alberni as well... even my old Seebold which is also from Lee will be in both Alberni and Seafair... all of the existing owners and drive'sr were all mentored by Lee, so its very cool to see his love live on through us...
Check out the attached picture of Lee talking to young 19 year old Kyle Maskall (Mike Maskall's son) before a heat last summer in Lake Chelan... That's Lee in the Blue jacket, and Lee's old Seebold, still sporting Lee's number 48... talk about passing the torch! very cool!!!
RIP my freind, you will live on for many years through all of us who you infected with this love of boats...Mike Nass

You got that right! Im a vee hull driver blow overs scare the crap out of me. Know nothing about packing air! I ask Lee how many times he blow over. He was like the second pic of Mikes above in deep thought for a second then like that shat eating grin in the first pis says. Oh gosh I dont really know exactly quite a few, big grin!! I said over 10? he said oh probably
Balls of steel I thought! love the name of his race team Out of Pocket Racing. He paid for everything him self no sponsors all out of pocket. So ya he earned it, had to work for every inch of water he ran. He was still getting capsule certified until a few years ago!! Ready to race till the end.
Im sorry for your Loss Mike as I know you and him shared a very long standing mutual friends ship. He was a one of kind guy and will be sorely missed.

Have not talked to Lee in years, I really regret that. I talked with him more back in early 2000's when we were building tunnel boats. Mike Maskal introduced me to him, as Mike had one of the early F1's we built. Lee was so laid back and full of information. He had played with these boats and had tons of feedback from it. Enjoyed talking with him. God Speed Lee. Todd Lamb

I just saw this and am very sad to hear this news. Lee was an awesome guy, I talked to him quite a few times and even bought a 280 from him back in the early 2000's.
He would always take time to answer anyone's questions, dumb or not
. He also worked his butt of off in his shop just so he could go racing.
RIP Lee, you will be missed22' Activator w/ 250xs Merc Opti, back home again

I ran one of Lee's old F1 boats today at the Alberni Regatta What a blast my first time in a F1.. Thanks to Mike Nass and Mike Maskall . I met Lee for the first time at a race at Mission Raceway Park 91-92 on the Fraser River BC Canada. they had to call him to race 3 times.... bedause he was answering my stupid questions. Lee always had time for my stupid questions.. He will be missed but never replaced Peter Wilson
