280 with Swedish fuel costs? Maybe not.

People in Sweden are all rich. They are not worried about the cost of gas! lol
BTW have you got any pictures of the whole boat? SS 2000 is one of my favorites.

I am perhaps not so worried about the price of gas as I am of having to deal with gas cans. I would love a 280 or even a Drag but I am not that good with engines either.

From changing jack plate, steering and doing a service on the engine.

This year a have a jack plate that does not stick down (as in the pic).

Jacked the engine up almost 1/10 inch today (to 1/10 over even). Surprised over how much it altered the handling... The boat feels like it rides higher and more nervous and at high speed like it wants to fall of the pad towards starboard. I hade to counter that in the clip.

I will try this setting again to see what is what before I lower 1/20... Or what to do?

Last clip. I lowered 1/20 and went out to test.

Get a 280 or a Drag, and you will get good with engines. It is just a matter of time...
