Paul,Your Valero looks like the one that was for sale back in 09 on Washington Lake. I might be wrong but you might want to do some asking around to see if it was.
Okay, Now I'm second guessing myself. Not sure if was a bowrider but for surely look like the same boat with the same power.

It could be but the color scheme on this boat was pretty popular. I know the boat was registered in Iowa and the motor has a MO registration sticker on it. I'm not worried about its history. It's no mystery what needs to be done to it. I might have the seats done right away, their original and pretty bad.

That actually looks like the one from the 1987 catalog. I remember it had the writing under the windscreen. Never have seen another one like that.

Sad to see this will be the last year of the thread on screamandfly. It has certainly been a great tool for all of us, especially through restorations. I've met some great guys and received a ton of help, without you guys the murder ventura would have never been built. Heres to sharing the Hydrostream bug with a younger generation

Apparently, my choice of wording wasn't the best. My intentions are that this is the last "new" thread. It has been tradition to start a new one every year. I figured it makes sense just to keep this one going. It's a lot of work to post all kinds of pictures and sort of re-start every year. Make sense? This will keep going as long as there is interest and participation.

I remember the one on Washington lake and It had the same power but I believe it was a closed deck on it.
