23' long and an 8'6" beam is very unique. Then add that it is a sit down hull and that is more rare. That weight is pretty impressive for a hull with that wide beam. Ton of boat for $19,500

1994 Maelstrom 23.9 Michael Peters design. This boat is like Allison meets Talon. Hull is very responsive and the design is if Talon were to make a V bottom. I wanted to get into an I/O for under 20k to see if I liked it. I do, alot. I don't think I could have picked a better package for my first experience. Gets on plane fast, will go slow enough for water sports or not to mess up mamma's hair, cruises at 60, runs right at 90 before the lower unit just runs out of efficiently. Also it should have an external steering cylinder to run any faster. Engine is a 525sc that was swapped in 3 years ago. It had 150 hours at the time of the install. It has about 30 in this boat now so 180 total. It has run flawless every time out.

I bought this boat and committed to a new Allison xr2002 at the same time if they were going to build one. Well it looks like they are and it will be here soon, so I need to make room. I really like this boat.

I'm sure the 525 Supercharged motor in there makes 600hp with conservative pulleys. If you could find one with low hours the motor alone would run about $15k.

While there was a break in the rain and some sun we took it out today to test the Bimini..It works really well. I thought it was too tall but it functions well. You can get up on the deck and on the rear sunpad and I can walk under it without any problem. It also provided good protection until about 4:30 pm so it was perfect during the hot time of day.

Man that thing looks fantastic on the water ! I seen a few different 525sc's for sale between 13-15k ! Buy the motor and damn near get a free boat !

A Bimini that stout would cost $1500 to build. I have one on one of my boats that sits in my garage because I never use it. I also like those integrated windscreens, very slick idea.
