WTB: Fuel pump to delete VRO

I have a 1994 140 Looper and would like to delete the VRO pump.

I would consider an electric pump but prefer this pump:

After doing extensive research I'm leaning twords this yamaha fuel pump. I've been told there is enough material in the signal port that I can thread it and insert a pipe for connection to the pulse hose.
Its used on 115hp to 300 hp Yamaha v6 so it should flow enough.

But the v-6's use 2 pumps. If your lucky it will be enough for a v4 looper. Put in a fuel pressure gauge so you can monitor fuel pressure at WOT.

    Thank you for the information

Do you happen to know if the V6 has those pumps in series or if they're running parallel?

Parallel. 1/2" fuel log vertical, the 3 carbs are fed separately with 3/8" hose from the log. One pump feeds the log from the bottom, the other pump from the top.

I did this on my 140 for two seasons and had no fuel problems. Gary

I'll try blocking it this weekend and report back.

I found a hole in the pulse hose going to the vro. Most likely that was causing my issues.
