Seat mounts look like they have a lot of flex in them. Hope they survive.

How hard is it to keep your foot planted on the throttle when in rough water?

The seat mounts are carbon/Kevlar composite that hook over the stringers, mine has stiffeners running width ways across the bottom, we tried the nav's without but will probably add them. I doubt they'll break, it's a complex of 450g carbon / 2 Kevlar / carbon / 2 kevlar / carbon. Extremely strong and lightweight.

we haven't tested in proper rough water yet, I don't expect to drive with my foot planted, the steps should allow me to run much faster than a pad V though as it naturally runs wet. I can comfortably run planted in a couple of feet of chop, it gets much rougher than that here though, and our massive 30ft tidal range combined with the wind of the English channel and the overfalls created by varying depths of water makes for some unique conditions!

You and your team are doing some very top shelf work. Very innovative. We just bought a 2010 250HO which will be our first ETEC.

Thanks very much, we do our best on a tight budget!

What's the 250 going on? I highly recommend Sam Jenkins' solid mounts, be sure to pair them up with a good set of bronze bushes in the steerer and tilt tube for the best longevity and handling to match the power and torque of the big block
