2016 Thunder on Cocoa Beach, S-111 Reliable Services Group

Here is an edit from our onboards during the race. We came out with the checkered flag, after a lot of hard work leading up to the race. It was a 5.5 mile course, the race was 9 laps. Our top speed was 103 and some change. Our average speed total was 89.32 mph for the 50 mile race. Special thanks to all of our crew, Colabella Performance, Power Performance Engineering, STR, Paragon Machine, Dewald propellers, and Skater powerboats. Our sponsors include Reliable Services Group, Wayne Deck Realtor, Ronstan Paper, and Porcelains Unlimited. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2L1Wellwl-o

It was an expensive cut for them-out of the race and I am guessing 8 to 10K repair job.

I knew it put them out but did not know the extent of the damage.

It did, Steering, Cowl, VST pump and linkage, and a hole in the boat with a big section of delaminated carbon. Its at Dougs shop now and Gary will make back before the next race. Ryan's boat looked really good the whole race and they were the guys that earned the win.

  11. Thanks JUPITER PULSARE, Ryan Beckley thanked for this post

Congrats on the win. I really expected the 300s to run better.i couldn't believe the speed you had when you passed both FJ and papas pilar on the back straight away. I think your boat seemed to run the best I have personally seen it run. Not that it means much lol
