The First I/O C 306 Predator Rigging has been started !!

Mine are 1 1/2" above the bottom and I think another 1/2 up would be better.

I would liked to start at 3.5" above and then go down but that is not possible so we see how it will do at 2" above or maybe lower its all depending on testing as no body have done this set up so we will see , also like Fujimo say there are a lot things that are involded in it a simple prop change can make a world of differents

Did you say you are using standard Bravo One drives? If you are, how will you be getting cooling system water? (Or did I miss this in the thread somewhere?)

I thought I mentioned it , Bravo sportmasters lowers and if I have not enough water whit the -2" I make seperate water intakes in the hull
Maybe you mean Tim he have normal bravo 1 drives on his 24 skater

Excellent. You should have sufficient pressure/volume... ...And the ITS is the only way to fly.

Yes, I have regular Bravo 1 drives that I've lengthened the skegs on. I really need to convert them to 1 1/4 propshafts, I've broken 2 of them.
I'm also running through hull water pickups.

bor will have this thing running as well as it can. He is not just any boater, he is a skilled mechanic, machines whatever he needs, does pretty much anything he wants, and he has a hell of a good New Years party, I have the video.

Looks like things are moving along there, looking good. I am sure you will get the most out of the Predator and I hope you like it. No chine walk there anymore. Do you ever drive your V you sold your Brother-in-law just for fun? What did he repower with?

Things are going well here, hope to run my Intimidator tomorrow, going down to change the registration numbers from NY to TN and be all legal and stuff in a couple hours and then prime the fuel system and if I get done early enough try block off the transom mounted water pickup and hopefully use my IMCO lower cone adapter on the sportie or figure out a way to get her fired up on the hose and the fogging oil out of it and scan it while running on the hose just to make sure no faults.

I never have sold my 21 ,still have it and there s a 5.0 mpi in it but still need a drive as the one I had is been sold and also have to hook everything on the engine but its hard to work on that while the cat is next to it !
But its fun to steer it out of the chinewalk and keep it balanced
We are now fabricate a couple of custom alluminium offshore mounts for the ls and make some inserts that I have to build in the cockpit floor to mount the seats ,for the show we had them screwed down simple as I wanted to figure out the right spot for the seats back home .The outside can be bolt thru the floor in to the sponson but the inside is above the tunnel so have to make a insert in the floor that hold them secure in the rough .

Great to here everything is ok ! Shoot me a couple pics thru fb or text of the intimidator and tell me how it runs !

Hello Armand, I had dinner with Doug Wright Saturday night and he's excited about seeing your boat finished. The majority of these are running outboards so yours will be pretty special. LS Motors are certainly the future of powering pleasure boats and GM's new LT4 with 650 HP would be an excellent choice in your boat or a 32DW. With a pair of 540 hp Merc blue motors he said the 32 would run 124. With your lighter LS derived power plants 124 shouldn't be a problem. He also told me to apologize because he truly didn't know what the X dimension and height of the drives were on these boats as he's focused on the running surface design and not on the setups !!!! Keep those pictures coming !!!

After a few busy weeks at work finally had some time to go on whit the allu engine mounts hope to finish them in the next week , plan is to put engines on a 3 ft alluminium rail so we can shift whit them forth and back to find a sweet spot .

Rayzor , We will see what happen It doesn t have to go mid 120 , I want to have a light weight easy to tow cat that handle some nasty water we can get here on the inland lake most of the time will be cruising from town to town and there are not many 100 + mph boats here so probably she will be one of the fastest if some one want to try

like you say we will see what happens when ready and play whit some propshaft heights and weight distrubition .
