You guys need to be patient
When I bought my XR-2002 in 1983 I hadn't seen so much as a sketch until the day I picked it up.

That was a lot of money in 83'. The thing that I always think about now is that my first house payment was around $900.00 when I was 21 and I was so scared that I was going to struggle to make it. Now my taxes and insurance are that much, its really sad what the dollar has done.

That was a lot money in 1983 and glad I got a healthy discount. The price from Allison was bare fiberglass with the rub rail. Not even the transom was bored. Total ended up around a year's take home pay with a new Evinrude and the rigging. So they seem silly expensive now but not really much different after inflation.

Tim, I haven't been in the shop for over a week. They didn't pop my boat out of the molds until last week so with any luck, yours will be sprayed soon if not already???
I'm pretty sure my boat is together but I cannot get there during their hours to see it. I need to make time soon as I have to set in the seat before they can mount it as mine will be bolted directly to the floor and then locate the shifter for mounting.
I know Darris is working on a couple of pieces that will complete the redesign and with any luck, I'll be mounting an engine on mine over the memorial day weekend.............

Copy that Steve, sounds like you have been a busy man. If you hear or see anything let me know!
Hope you get your memorial day wish!

I may be a little partial but there's a really sharp blue XR-2002 at the Allison plant!
If all goes well, there will be a presentation next week.

That looks like Petty Blue to me on the bottom. The Bahama Blue I have is a little darker.
I know Darris likes Petty Blue and he's hoping someone orders one in that color............
We positioned the seat last night and finalized all the trim details as well.
I messed with the console a little but that is going to take some work to make it fit like I want it to. To me, it will look much better than the shields of yesteryear.
