This is more of a drop in the nose and starts to go left just before it gets to 90. That is why I think it is the lower. The oil stays nice and clean. You can nail it at 20mph and it gets to 85 real quick. I have only done that twice as I am pretty easy on my stuff. I would love to have a full Imco for sure. I think with that, some set up and the right prop it would run 100.

Very few hi performance hulls in this size carry that wide a beam. The only thing that comes to mind is the Hallett 240 which is also 8'6". You have a really unique rig there, very well designed bottom to carry a wide body like that to those speeds. Impressive.

I bet it would. What X Factor are you running now, maybe a 1" spacer would take care of that issue or maybe it is just how the boat runs and you get used to it and keep teh hammer down and get through it. The boat is a very nice boat for sure. Fast, rare and very well laid out interior in excellent shape, very roomy, excellent and new looking guage package, the whole thing is really nice and IMO, it is WELL worth your asking price and then some. Great family and fun for you when the family is not in there. A rare LH drive very limited production boat with that low time on a factory Merc Racing 525sc is SWEET. That engine and outdrive is what 50K+ new by itself.

    Thanks guys!

Yea I was shocked how well balanced it is and how light it is on its feet for a stern drive v hull. I may push it a bit if I ever am in it alone to see if it an be driven thru to the other side of 90. BTW it will go very slow for water sports also..about 18-22 mph..and there are swim platforms and a boarding ladder..good family boat

Nice boat Tim. Steering ram, nose cone, and a little more boost and 90 is no problem!

It would be interesting to see what the true weight is. It has to be fairly light to get the speeds you are achieving. I'm going to guess 2700 lbs with close to no gas.

Dutch it will run 90 now! It is just not real happy there. Your right a cone and some external steering would do it wonders...and give some driver confidence!

Greg I forgot to answer your question. Yes those are factory wind flaps.

As for weight...I will try to weigh it to see how close that spec sheet is. I think it is closer to 4k though. Good hull design though which is more important than weight...just ask people like Daris Allison.
