90 5.0, I just realized who you are. We met at Catahoula. You should be a force to be reckoned with in your Allison. Getting a 20ft dual console Bullet to run over 100mph with a stock 225 merc is pretty awesome. I was very impressed. You are definitely doing something right. I will be glad when they build these boats (xr2002). I think they will be great.

Also I have heard that they are easier to string out on top end, but I have no factual info, just what I found talking to people when looking.

a week after I found my 2001 I found a 2002 I would have loved to have had DOH!

Oh well, in sure i'll love my 01, just gonna be a little more cramped on river rides
My bet would be there are more guys that have run a Xr2002 120+ than any other Allison. i know there have been some XR 2001,s just over that mark and XB2002 also. But bet for the most part XR2002 boats. There are many reasons for that other than pucker tolerance of driver im sure. Not saying thats normal to drive any Allison at those speeds but thats been my observation. In a sexy speed combo contest in my opinion there are very few boats ever made that can match the XR2001 . Pure unadulterated boat sexiness lines right there! haha the XR2002 would be a close second followed buy the SS,GS then XB02 if i were judging.

    ah yeah that was us.

and that was strung out to dry speed not the 1/8th mile speed LOL. Still got a lot of set-up work to do for 1/8th mile I'm getting drug!

it only took about ten props and 2.5 years of set-up to do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we're at three props and 4 months of testing on 660' so far so we way behind the curve but we getting there.

    good to meet yall too!

Ive got tons of years drag racing cars, and tons of years driving fishing boats, but this drag racing boats is different! fun and new though!!

I bought myself a couple of digital crane scales last week. Nothing fancy, expensive or anything special but for $300, I'll take a chance on them. For $1000, you can get nice certified scales.
I can verify them to see how close they are before I post weights..........

Not sure what's to believe as two of the four XR's are built waiting on trailers to arrive.

Which is the better driving boat?
The new bottom XR2001's are easier to drive but neither are difficult. The 2002 is very quick and I think gives up very little to a 2001 in the short track. I think the wider pad of he 2002 starts hurting it as speeds go over 100 but I have no data to support that. I love them both

Nancy is dead set on having nice photos taken with the boat on the trailer outside of the shop! She does not allow pictures taken from inside the buildings to be posted on-line.
Boatmate is building the tandem XR trailers first which includes the race boat heading to Kentucky and my trailer. So, if I were to guess, Nancy will post pictures of the second boat built before she does Lee's. It is white with black stripes and string steering.

When I take possession of my boat, there will be pictures posted and, I will show pictures of my boat hanging on a set of scales as well..............

I definitely believe it. Just can't wait to see pictures. Allison's are about the sexiest boats out there in my opinion. SS 2000 being my favorite to look at.
